A pneumatically actuated ball valve offers a relatively fast cycle time, approximately one-half to one second depending of actuator model / type. FLUITECH pneumatic ball valves are designed to operate using an air supply of 50 - 125 psi. The air can be delivered by direct mounted solenoid valves having a NAMUR interface or from remote solenoid valves connected via means of 1/8" NPT female threaded orifices in the actuator. FLUITECH Valve 3 GP Series 3-way & 4GP Series 4-way solenoid operated pilot valves are available for DRG Series pneumatic actuators.
